Blinkies
Now, I actually like some blinkies. But like all web graphics, it has that equalising element that comes from anything that is easy-to-make - the loonies and nutcases can play too.
Here are collected blinkies where my first reaction was a resounding 'WTF??!!'

Childbirth and Family blinkies are a very common category.The minutiae expressed, however, would be met with dumb-founded silence in polite conversation. Among the sources for this collection are these two sites that contain the most batshit insane mommy blinkies I've ever seen. Can we say TMI?
It's almost as if online mums are actively vying against each other to garner the most sympathy/admiration for their child-rearing decisions. Yeesh, bitches.
For anyone who's as baffled as I was as to the strange language of pregnancy, here's a quick glossary:
*TTC - Trying to Conceive
*SAHM - Stay at Home Mom
*VBAC - Vaginal Birth after Caesarean(aren't you GLAD you asked??)
*POAS - Pee on a Stick (9_9)
*Placenta Previa - when the placenta totally or partially blocks the cervical entrance. Funny how the more fraught with danger the pregnancy, the more popular you are...
*doula - basically a new-age midwife
*Depo - Depo provera, an injectable birth-control drug
*Ectopic - when the fertilised ovum embeds in the fallopian tube or the ovary rather than in the uterus. Not good.
*Clomid - fertility drug
